Over half a million people are eligible to become citizens in New York. The NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs in partnership with other agencies is hosting two workshops to help those who wish to become citizens get everything they need in order. These two workshops will take place in Queens, NY and require registration. Call 212-788-7654 to register for one of these citizenship workshops. Expect no cost legal and application assistance. After registering for the workshop of your choice make sure to bring the following items to the worskshop:
- Green card and passport
- Child’s green card
- Copy of most recent IRS Tax Return
- Marriage or divorce papers (if applicable)
- Certified dispositions and MTA disposition letter (if applicable)
One workshop will take place on Saturday June 13, 2015 from 10:30am – 1:30pm at Martin Van Buren High School 230-17 Hillside Avenue Queens Village, NY 11427.
The following workshop will take place on Saturday June 27, 2015 from 10:30am – 1:30pm at Flushing High School 35-01 Union Street Flushing, NY 11354.
